GEXSI is a driving force in pioneering new business models which alleviate poverty. We inspire entrepreneurial thinkers to work with us in designing social business models that reinforce our own efforts. Many of these ideas evolve into social businesses which are independent from our charitable organization (such as the organization GEXSI LLP which develops non-charitable development investment products and services based on a shared vision).

We work with entrepreneurs to innovate social businesses models particularly in the area of development finance:

	Donation-fed vehicles investing in promising early-stage social enterprises
	Rounding-up schemes to raise charitable funds
	Project development of commercial businesses that benefit the poor (e.g., by integrating smallholder farmers in economic value chains)
