The support of early-stage social ventures to move from being grant-dependent projects to become viable social purpose businesses is one of the most efficient ways to alleviate poverty.
Our work so far has been made possible through a great number of volunteers
and in-kind supporters, as well as third-party financial support.
There are may different ways to get involved. Currently, we actively look for:
- in-kind support from business analysts and other financial sector specialists in order to expand our business planning support for social entrepreneurs.
- financial support to fund our coaching and mentoring services of social entrepreneurs, as well as finance for our philanthropic Bottom-of-the-Pyramid (BoP) Fund.
- promotional support to create new alliances with
financial sector organisations, development finance or foundations
to secure financing for our BoP Fund and related coaching and mentoring services.
In addition, we offer opportunities for volunteering in one of our offices or with one of our projects we support.

A very simple and effective way of supporting us and our projects is
to view our projects which are linked to the online platform Betterplace.
- Pick a project and monitor it, from the initial project presentation to conclusion.
- Make “your” project a success by actively commenting it through the integrated web blog, campaign for testimonies of friends, spread the word that your project is best to friends, or combine your next holidays with an on-site field trip!
Your active comments, recommendations and sponsorship make a difference. They make social businesses that are dispersed around the globe, visible to a greater community, and thus facilitate access to technical expertise, markets, and capital.
