A global remit: Local commitment

Since our foundation in 2001, GEXSI has been firmly wedded to practically addressing global issues like poverty, malnutrition and environmental degradation by developing innovative solutions that have been forged though first-hand experience.

Our belief in the power of "moving from aid to market" has seen us develop a small coterie of projects where we have been able to pioneer new social business models.

Our projects, both current and previous, have seen GEXSI active in Africa, South America and Asia.  Our presence has been facilitated through our BoP Fund or by directly developing our own projects. 

These projects have allowed GEXSI and our collaborative partners to implement novel commercial ideas, and begin the journey from proof-of-concept through to a viable business proposition.
