GEXSI Capital Partners intensively explores innovative and scalable business models that combine commercial success with positive social and environmental outcomes for under-privileged communities in low-income regions.

We invest in selected social businesses that have fulfilled our exacting sustainability criteria.  These business all have a clear social mission, and are concerned with developing low-impact, innovative and sustainable business models that possess a concrete commercial focus without losing sight of positive outcomes for both people and the region in which the businesses are based.

We take an active role in shaping the growth of these social businesses, and ensure that the stated positive social and environmental aims lie at the core of the commercial decision-making process to reinforce their mission-driven aims.

To date, we have invested in three social enterprises:

• Plantinum Madagascar sarl (nature conservation and poverty alleviation);
• elimentaire sarl (nature conservation and poverty alleviation);
• Rainforest Connect Management GmbH (nature conservation and poverty alleviation).
